So basically Fire Emblem mode. Yeah I tired this before. I actually beat the Pokemon games with the crappiest Pokemon. I just used revives and full restore to deal with the limitations. Like I trained a level 100 Caterpie in Red once. The attchment and grow stuff. That doesn't happen if you constantly dump Pokemon. I pretty much didn't have none of my starters after like badge 3 or 4. There is one problem though. With the E4. If you follow this rule, you'll pretty much get killed all the time and have to toss out your high level pokemon. So you will risk getting stuck. You'll be with overall weaker Pokemon. Since you have to train all 6 evenly. Or you'll get bored grinding for way longer.
