The publishers blew A LOT on marketing and It doesn't seem to have done too much. I doubt it was ever going to open under 400k, if true they should have just let word of mouth spread the game and done mild marketing following launch

They have a marketing deal with Microsoft.

600k+ (not counting digital) is great to me.
