Or it might run perfectly fine. We've seen nothing to suggest that KH3 is utilizing any kind of tech that couldn't be (relatively) easily scaled back onto the WiiU and run fine (heck, it should be doable on the PS3 and 360 too). There might well be some such tech, but they haven't shown any of it.

 

As for your second point, the most likely explanation would be Nintendo throwing money at SE (similar to MS with FF13) :p I don't personally think KH3 is the rumored AAA title, but weirder things have happened. 

It wont be Kingdom Hearts III. Square switched to Unreal Engine 4 and thats not the U.
