For waht it is worth, I did an unscientific survey of Wii, PS3 and Playstation 3(I did two separate surveys for the PS3 for both the acronym and full name. Both will be 60 GB skus) prices on eBay. All prices include shipping. My method: I picked up five eligible auctions on the completed listing page in order from top to bottom to prevent handpicking. In order for an auction to be eligible, both seller and buyer should have more than 5 feedback and an average rating of more than 98%. All auctions have to have been won the old eBay way, no Buy it Nows, no Dutch auction, no eBay express. Auctions have to only include one box of the system, no extra accessories, no extra games. If something is not packed in, the auction is ineligible. I also only counted the lowest possible shipping rates(this includes handling in most cases). And taxes were not counted. All systems were North American units. Unsold auctions are also ineligible. My results: Wii is selling at an average of US$358 including shipping. The PS3 is selling at US$571.82 including shipping. Playstation 3 is selling at US$577.65 inluding shipping. Damn, I just wasted like half an hour.
