It's a typical 80s movie (early 90s at the latest) that I remember only partially. Quite possibly that I've incorporated some parts of similar movies into this one, so the only sure things I could say about it are:
- It is about some corporate executive, who due to the will of his boss(es?) or other combination of circumstances has been fired (it is NOT Trading Places), after unfortuante end of the career his entire life went into a ditch.
- As it's a typical 80s movie with social topic where two worlds collide, the poor guy has experianced all the trials of the streets in not so prosperous neighbourhood. He was chased by some gang (possibly black). Clearly remember he was in line for free food for homeless or smth.

At some point I thought the main character has been portraied by that what's-his-name Belushi's counterpart in Taking Care of Business, but I've studied his entire filmography and hasn't find anything like that (neddless to say it's NOT Taking Care of Business).

Any ideas?
