I doubt that the 360 and PS3 play a big role in this, so the difference in sales between the One and PS4 is much more important than the figures for the Xbox and PS families.

The 63% share applies to the games from the top 10 list, according to the source. They also completely exclude the Wii U (they have a graph that breaks the percentages down into only PS and Xbox) which could theoretically have had digital sales of CoD: Black Ops 2 and Ghosts. PS platforms do not account for 63% of the digital revenue of the overall console market like the thread title implies. And given how vague the source (superdata) is, it's possible that they define "console market" as only 360, One, PS3 and PS4, so Vita and Nintendo platforms are excluded. That wouldn't be surprising because the website considers itself a service for American and European third party publishers.

The Vita deffinitely isn't included because the source says that PS3 and PS4 (no Vita) combined makes up 63% of total digital console sales, so I'll assume the 3DS, and the Wii U as well isn't included.

But nowhere in the source does it say that the 63% is only for the top 10, and how can you say that last gen doesn't count for much here, when a 2 year old last gen only title is in the top 10?

Also where the hell is Fifa?
