I'm pretty sure if you guys want to get a channel started, the first thing youll need to do is find people who already use IRC, and get them to join, afterwards others who dont know about IRC will follow

So to get us people that do use IRC to the channel (12 Year IRC User here), get a poll going on... Simply ask:

Which IRC Network do we use?
EFNet
Freenode
Quakenet
EnterTheGame
etc

And after you figure out which network most people use... thats the network you need to create the channel on...because im fairly certain the reason its dead is perhaps your creating the channel on the wrong network
