The second hand market for Nintendo games is smaller than third party games, so the prices remain higher. Nintendo games have more lasting value.

Naturally they are evergreen titles.  Generally nintendo games are above average and the serious lack of competition from 3rd parties ensures not much competition.  

Lack of 3rd parties has nothing to do with it. Even back in the NES/SNES era when Nintendo had amazing 3rd party support, Nintendo published titles still had great legs and we're the best selling titles on Nintendo platforms.
