My playtime was minus the cutscenes. I found Bayonetta 2 shorter than Bayonetta 1. Vanquish on the other hand was a very short game with little to no story. Not saying I didn't enjoy them as I specially bought the WiiU for Bayonetta 2 and bought vanquish on launch and I'm a huge fan of PG.
