Though i could say that not all hardcore Nintendo fans got those games, probably about half of those sales were.

.....

Yeah i guess i lose :P, but i do stand by my point that some hardcore Nintendo fans jumped the train, as you can see from the Wii U, and i also do think more software will be sold, Nintendo and other companies may surprise us (*cough* Yokai Watch U, Animal Corssing U, Pokken Tournment U)

What determines whether or not a gamer is hardcore? If it is based on the games they buy, then all people who bought these games are "hardcore" and "Nintendo fans" unless you are telling me that different sets of casuals contributed to the games sales and they only casually bought a hardcore game and only that game.

Other joined "the train" as well. I don't entirely disagree with your other point, but I do have to say that the Wii U is likely to have as many Nintendo fans buy it as the Wii and GC had, if we use the limited definition of "hardcore." The Nintendo decline is a slow one, it's fanbase is quite dedicated in terms of support.

I never said that all these games were bought by hardcore fans, i specifically said probably half of the amount sold were hardcore fans, and are not even hardcore games to begin with, i never said that.

Obviously there are peopel who joined, but i doubt its very much. Kids who bought the Wii are probably around 12-16 now and think that Nintendo are kiddy because of that, hence the amount of kids on games like COD (Not to say no kids joined, I myself did), so that leaves the adults, which are most people who joined probably, but most likely only because of the polished games, i can't imagine someone joining because of the Wii's motion controls.
