Just remember that you may like the PS4's 2015 release schedule more, but it came at the expense of 2014. Where after MLB you had like... Driveclub and LBP3 in terms of big retail releases and that's it (I might be forgetting something). MS has less in terms of quantity for 2015 (that we know of anyway, and I might even be wrong here), but I still need to play most of the many games they put out in the last chunk of 2014. Haven't touched season two of Killer Instinct, need to play D4, would love to get time to dive into Horizon 2, haven't touched Master Chief Collection, and I'm only a few hours into Sunset.
And you're right about excitement. It doesn't matter how many games are out if they aren't any good. A huge deal was made about The Order and it stinks.
