Why Nintendo still doesn't have a trophy/achievement system to their games in 2015?

So in-game achievements are gimmicks now? Funny...and here I thought I was feeling more accomplished unlocking songs and character trophies in Smash Bros then getting those random trophy points on my PS3 collection.

Honestly though, I couldn't care less about achievements, but if draws people to the system, I really don't mind it being implemented somehow. I just find much more enjoyment in getting achievements the way Smash Bros. and Kid Icarus went about them. In-game rewards will always be more meaningful to me than some point tally.
