Maybe they are late because ioi is just fed up of all the whining about over/under tracked every single time numbers are released.

If this were the case, then what did he expect making a sales tracking site? its only natural that his numbers would be compared to those from other sources.

It is better that the numbers come later and are right than the numbers come early and are wrong.

3 weeks late? I don't think that qualifies as being late anymore. Think of it, if you are trying to make numbers on a weekly basis, doesn't that mean that by the end of that week and a few days into the next you would have compiled all your data for the week ready for release? Unless we are to believe that there is data for a week that takes him two to three weeks to compile.

Call me crazy but this is how I think it would work.

  • week ending (x) all data for the week is gathered
  • 2-3 days to input data into used formula(s) and spit out results.
  • middle to end of the following week after week ending (x) numbers are released.

The only logical reason I can see for numbers being 3 weeks late is negligence. I'm open to correction though.
