I am very sorry if you felt offended. That wasnt my intention at all. I just think you are not letting yourself immerse in those worlds for some reason. If you dont let yourself, you cant feel attached to the characters.
Why dont you try playing said games and enjoying them. I think you will feel a closer connection than watching lets plays narrated by someone and chopped into bits that break the imersion. You have to play them by yourself, without thinking about what any of this means in the real world.
