For every game like this you have 100 that are not cinematic, your complaining makes no sense, you dont like it dont buy them cause other people enjoys them and they will not end just because a couple find them toxic.

If it grows though, it could spread to games that I do like and don't want to become more cinematic. 

I'm not saying such games should be eradicated, just that to protect diversity, the contagious nature of this trend should be curtailed.

In my humble opinion, of course.
