By the time the PS3 does catch it, the X720 or whatever will most likely be announced, while the PS3 is still making up ground to gain Sony a few dollars, so they don't have to write this entire generation off as a financial loss. |
No numbers. just speculation. When OEM manufacturer stop supporting a big name like MS, there is always a reason we don't hear about. And if the failure rate is still around 30% then you have to factor that it.
As for what I bolded, your right. It doesn't matter. The 360 is doing well, and is a strong product for MS regardless of what the PS3 does.
