I understand, but thats why I am so surprised at how much power he hid from everyone. He played the role of a cub when in truth he was a freaking lion. I am just saying that even though he turned out to be more than a mage he posed as one no different than Anders in the last game who went rogue (to my recollection he allowed himself to be a vessel of a god as well). Next game I am going to be very, very cautious of mages all the way from Tevinter to the newly established college. The only mages I might give the benefit of the doubt to are circle mages and even then i will still be on my toes about how I deal with them.
