An 1 world war FPS could bring a lot of new cool and brutal elements to Story and MP.

I like the idea, but not a lot of FPS fans will like it. World War 1 didn't have a lot of automatic weapons, which a lot of FPS fans like.

because they didnt used normal guns for the killing most of the time. there wasnt enough face to face pew pew to make a shooter.

a portal gun isnt a gas grenade that is shot over miles just to hit somewhere and release poison gas.

It doesn't have to be dead beat accurate WW1 game either, we can create an alternative story that is fitting with histoical events during WW1. Have some creativity of the potential of an great idea! Unlock the possibilities! stop living inside that box and release your inner creativity! learn some history, mix it in with so many amazing events. It can even be an secret event that happen during the WW1 that we doesn't know about, just like with Captain america and red skull. Everything is possible. I just seee WW1 as a perfect setting for a game, due how dramatic and horrible it was. Overdrown trenches with infestations of sicknesses.
