Agreed. I'm offended.
Anyways, I like the Nation threads. Yeah, they're redundant, but I still find them to be little safe havens for people to just chill and bring up things that may not be worthy of threads, or just regular conversation. 
I don't think they spark any more negativity than the normal forums do.
