Well, for the Wii and PS3, you had to go through menus and get to the game first before you can start the game, so that was a little annoying (Don't get me started when the bloody PS3 needed an update and I would be irritated and have to wait...) The Wii U's is better now : ) I don't know how th3 PS4's works...

Not for PS3 you don't. I just checked, turn the console on, pop in a disc, wait a couple seconds for it read the disc and the game auto starts.

Yeah, you're right. When I slid a game in, it loaded right up. Although, you still need to sign in, and if the game is already in, you have to navigate to the game.
