There should never be an easy or easier mode in any of the souls type games. Why? Because the difficulty is pretty much the bread and butter for that genre. It's like taking the mario out of a mario game. If someone wants to play a dumbed down, easy peasy game then go play something else. Not everything needs to be made for everyone.
