Every time mario powerslides or jumps off the ramp he goes "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I think that's where it lost some marks.

Maybe it's annoying if you're watching a video of it, but it never annoys me when I'm playing... I'm too focused on the frantic action to think about that.
