This is why I prefer listing reviews to just a metcritic score. My first review was gamespot and I was terribly disappointed...
Really, only two reviewers disliked it and when you read their reviews it appears they allowed their own personal preferences to weigh too heavily on the scores. They didn't care for the somewhat unique style of gameplay, essentially, and said it was difficult to master.
If this type of game appeals to you, though, the other reviews seem to suggest this is certainly a quality 80+ game. I initially thought about not picking my preorder up after gamespot but I'll definitely get it now. :)
