Grab your controller and put it in the freezer. Wait for an hour, no more no less. Take it out and let it thaw. wait for a few hours and there you have it. Like a new one.

Sure thing.

On a more serious answer... I had the same problem with my Dualshock 3 controllers. I would be playing Resident Evil 6 and random button inputs would happen when I was playing with my friends. For example, I was shooting a zombie and then my controller would open the menu and discard my bullets, or use my healing items. It was a weird problem and it happened with a lot of games. It made RE 6 a lot more fun though.

The conclusion was easy... the problem was with the controller. I had to buy 3 new controllers in the end... When this kind of wierd stuff happens it's probably the controller but if it only happens with 2 or 3 games I say you deal with it!
