Hello, VGC! I'd like to ask for some feedback in this case:

I've had a wired 360 controller for a while. It's like this (but in black):

So, this thing is actually very nice, and I save a lot in batteries. But I've noticed a strange trend in some games whenever I use the wired controller: when pressing Up in the left analog stick, the character starts moving slowly, like I'm not pressing it entirely (but I am). Moving slightly to the right or to the left the controller would then make the character start dashing like he normally should (just, slightly to the right or to the left, which makes it annoying). This only happens in few games, such as:

· Bully: Scholarship Edition.

· Dark Souls.

· Final Fantasy XIII-2 (started playing it now, which triggered my question regarding this problem).

Is the controller broken? Or is it something regarding the games themselves?
