I think why people find the hatred to be unprecedented is because the game hasn't even released yet. There doesn't seem to be a consensus around game length and whether its a good game or not. Hell the one review we do have is positive.

From what I have heard the average game time is around 8-12 hours depending on the gamer. Of course that won't stop people from latching onto the lowest gameplay runtime and running with it. Everyone knows Resident Evil 4 is a 2 hour long game.

 

Cant wait for some reviews tomorrow. Am expecting a 72-75 meta, which is fine. Will be pleasantly surprised if it its higher, although that won't away my purchase either way.
