I feel like Zelda sells a bit better in Canada than the US, though I am only using Amazon's best sellers as a judge. Nintendo products overall seem to always be dominating that list!
I could be horribly wrong, but I'd say that 40,000 could be around 50-60K.
I think your 900K overall prediction is fairly accurate! Should be within 100K give or take :)
