Since Wii U failed, what should Nintendo have done to follow up the Wii's success?

Ninty doesnt deserve anything if they were doing things right they wouldnt be in the position they are in. The MARKET decides who is doing what right and right now they are saying it isnt Ninty. Your logic about nintendo not deserving more is completely flawed. Did you forget we leave in a world where many get undeserved praise/hate. The market merely shows what is selling better, not whom is making games the right way. Also, you're showing a lot of ignorance by calling nintendo games the same because of their... number entry? Why don't you compare the gameplay of each installment before saying such a thing?

Couldnt one say the same about any big popular game? And what of stuff like GTA that also puts up big numbers were they also brainswashed. It seems people will find any negative reason to hate on a game they dont like doing well. 

The market decides what they want to play period. Your logic is flawed because you are attaching emotion to it. THeir is no hate for Nintendo from MOST people, they put out a product that people simply didnt care about. It's taht simple. So im showing ignorance but people who say every COD is the same isnt? THat sounds bias, and whats funny is that people have yet to tell me im wrong. What is the big differences between say the NSMB games? How is that any different than the CODs and ACs or any other sequels in the world?
