Do you mean that none of the list will sell 1m? Are you forgetting that MS and Resistance have both basically sold 3m copies (yes I know they were bundled, but they both sold over 1m without bundling) With an install base much much bigger, many of those games will sell over 1m (R & C, HS and Uncharted have all managed it (well HS will in a few weeks).

If you have watched any of the KZ 2 trailers you will know why people are getting really hyped about this game. Many people enjoyed the first KZ (myself included) and Killzone Liberation (one of the best games on PSP) and KZ 2 will sell a few million

Also, even though GT 5 and FF XIII will not be released this year, they will still be on people's minds when they think about getting a console, so Sony will show both of those at E3 this year, to reremind people of them. There is also Eight Days and the Getaway, which could both make it this year. There is also a chance of an Uncharted 2 teaser trailer to remind us of that coming out in November 2009

maybe they will sell but i don't see here any 90+/100 score game. resistance and motorstorm was a total mediocre titles for me and the only reason why sony sold that many copies of them is because motorsotrm and resistance were the only one good exclusive games for a really long time.

don't you see exact situation like with killzone 1 was? eight days and getaway 3 won't come 2008 because i didn't hear about those games last year much and such games sony would hype right now because it's sony - they always overhype own games(getaway was a total let down when i played it after hearing all those things from friends about this game before it came out). eight days might be good butit won't come out before 2009.

They may have been mediocre games for you, but they both averaged in the mid 80's, and with more experience on the consoles (any many beleive MS was rushed for EU launch) and Insomniac will have more experience in the FPS genre and the 60 player MP along with MS 2's major addition of split screen and the jungle setting, both these games will be vastly better than their originals

As for killone here are some of the complaints (taken from wiki): "Reviewers cited many technical problems with Killzone, including inconsistent and sometimes nonexistent AI,[2] occasional bugs resulting in random game crashes, frame-rate issues, numerous distracting graphical glitches,[2] repetition of the same voices,[6] short draw distance, and an awkward control system."

They did also complain about gameplay, but it is said to be better this time (I think some people have had a hands on already and the cover system looks good), however, the technical problems can be solved by the power of the PS3, especially as they are 1st party with stacks of money to help them in their developement, so there will not be the same sort of technical problems. The online component was also good, and it will be much better for PS3 with more users taking advantage of online play, and there will of course be some HOME integration to help with KZ clans and stuff.

As for Eight Days and the Getaway, even if they are not coming out this year (they could both be announced at the event on May 6th for this year, GeoW 2 was announced earlier this year for November, so they could be announced for this year, especially as they have been under developement for a long time) having these good looking exclusives around the corner might persuade some people who are sitting on the fence over PS3/360
