Striking contracts with these media companies is one thing.  Selling at a price cheaper than cable might be another.  The thing we have to remember is that cable companies pay for the media they send.  This is no different for Sony and if the cable companies is pay at one price, why would these media companies sell lower.  So the more channels Sony attempts to get, the higher the cost of the service or they make no money.

I am interested to see what Sony Price point will be.  The interesting thing is that the Cable companies are also putting their stuff up as internet services.  What could happen is that there could be some real competition in this space and you have multiple companies vieing for your dollars.  This is what I am most interested in seeing.
