I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The PS4 doesn't need a price drop at all and it won't need one for a long time. I'd honestly see it as worrying if the PS4 got any price drop before 2016. People are buying it at $400, so Sony will keep selling it at $400.
A price drop right now would only be good for consumers. Sony makes decisions that are right for the company only.
