They are connected to the same servers.  There is 0 difference between the two versions once online ingame.

According to eurogamer there is a difference, significant enough for them to say it along with the AF effectively negates the PS4 advantages of better res and slightly better console side performance. If the servers are the same then it must be passing through PSN to get to your console that must be the cause of the difference, right?
