Personally, I don't see this as much of a handicap; Xenoblade 1 was able to pull off a breathtaking world even on the ageing Wii hardware. Sure, X isn't going to look as sharp or as polished as Witcher 3, but its scale and design don't seem to be gimped at all by horsepower limitations.
