You would be wrong. It closes the book on the story trying to be told, not the environments the character will be in. 

Strictly speaking about the environments, I think in a broad sense the environments can be considered 'fantasy', but I'd rather not continue this debate further. You can keep on debating on this, but I would rather end it here.
