I loved Let the Right One In, but found the US remake Let Me In to be a far lesser film. Let the Right One In was tragic and somber and yet horrific at times, it was very distinct. Great suggestion.

I'm honestly surprised that you seen "Let the right one in" much less liked it. I loved it too. Let me in was too amercanized. Trying to make it fast paced.

Saw it, bought it instantly and re watched it. I loved the story and characters and tone. It had many layers to its dark themes and felt kids did a great job acting.
Let Me In...it just was not needed, and I am probably harder on it because I kept thinking "why did you remake a near perfect film?"
