personally it seems that ninty has released three hardcore games. zelda, prime, and smash (maybe super paper mario). those games are loved by their fans. zelda is still zelda, never played a prime, but smash has been casualized. it still has amazing depth, but its slower and more floaty. it is also broken (ic chain grab).
galazy is casual, mario kart is casual. they have depth, but they are casual games. ninty has always been casual to midcore with lots of depth. its jsut that their fans are freaking out because they are becoming more casual than ever.
