People who spend their money on kickstarters and think they can just get a refund if things don't work out aren't very bright. Anything you give to a kickstarter project, regardless of what neat sounding credits/titles they may offer you, are nothing more than simple donations. You're not an investor, and the people you're giving money to are not liable.
Hope the people (ab)using it enjoy it while it lasts, because sooner or later somebody is gonna step in and start regulating this shit. Probably shortly after everybody's StarCitizen bubble bursts.
