Stuff like this always happens after ownership changes hands.
My guess that after Planetside 2, neither PS4 nor XOne will see any of Daybreak games getting ported over. I expect H1Z1 for PS4 to get cancelled in the next three months.

When SOE was bought they explicitly said they were gonna work on Xbox and PlayStation games (and of course other platforms such as PC). Would be quite strange to change that course after 9 days.

point me to a source where that was stated?   all i saw was one guy that got bought out make a bitter tweet about working on xbox.

i'm with burek.  ain't shit going to consoles now.   maybe planetside 2 on ps4 but i wouldn't be surprised if that is canned too.

''This means that effective immediately SOE will operate as an independent game development studio where we will continue to focus on creating exceptional online games for players around the world, and now as a multi-platform gaming company. Yes, that means PlayStation and Xbox, mobile and more!''
