I don't think mythos has ever stopped merged fighters from being good.

Hell, I would write you a badass backstory for it right now that would make sense in the Batman universe.

Cool thing to me is they are playing up Batman. He's by far my favorite superhero, screw Spiderman, screw Superman, hate em. Love Batman, and looks like the MK franchise respects that, so just playing with Batman in a game that might not suck, could be cool.

Now, as for the "no fatalities" what am I 10 years old? That's like "no achievements." I can see why others would care about that, but I don't, especially if they add some cool stuff to replace it. Most great fighters don't have fatalities or blood, like Tekken, Brawl, MvC. It's a gimmick, honestly, always has been.

I would much rather have a finishing move that's usable in the actual fight. If the game is good, I got nothing against the premise, and I'm intrigued about it, that's all I'm saying. I don't understand all the hate.

All of these games have their super, uber-powered moves (MK is more gory, but it's still similar)

Tekken has supermoves.

Brawl has Final Smashes.

MvC has moves that fill up the entire screen when you fill up your special gauge, and take half your opponent's life bar.

Not to mention, MK was always inferior to Street Fighter and others, with the fatalities being the big redeeming factor.  How can MK 'Kombat' these other franchises without a big gimmick like this?

Not saying it won't be good, but until we hear more, it doesn't look like anything special to me.

I'm only buying this if I can rip Aquaman's head off, but it lookslike I can't do that, so...

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
