I'd argue Vita primarily just appeals to core gamers east and west.

Games like AC, Uncharted, and CoD did fairly well because that's the type of games the Vita audience wants. While some of those same IPs went ignored on Wii U because core console gamers don't want a Wii U.

So are you talking about the Average Consumer or the "Core" Gamer?
