You're saying the hardcore would rather have a non-linear Super Mario than a more challenging linear Super Mario?
You're saying the hardcore would rather have a non-linear Super Mario than a more challenging linear Super Mario?
almost what I think, not the challenging part in the case of SMG,
'cause if you are an experienced Mario gamer,
you rather see the limitations of the NES and SNES version, despite those games being great,
be broken, and the game more challenging,
of course this is just what a I think from a gameplay point of view, but many here will disagree probably and say that I'm saying this like it's a fact, and I know it's not
but
don't forget
Nintendo is not making games for the it's old fanbase
who are older now and have more skill
it also needs to appeal to younger 'new' gamers
so it is understandable
but from a platformers point of view
Sonic is a game that needs to be linear,
because of it's speed
bringing the linearity back without increasing the speed of a game? ouch
I need to play SMG more to be able to answer that in it's particular case
''Hadouken!''
