It's not completely unlikely, especially when you consider the fact that Fire Emblem saw a considerable growth with Awakening.  I am not saying it definitely is the correct number, as I doubt that it's correct as well.  However, that doesn't mean it has to be false just because you don't think it's likely.

It could have growth but not in that extend
I saw Fire Emblem growth it's not that big growth
