Of course Ferrari doesn't. But they actually offer something that is indeed more valuable which is the difference.

That's because you are not educated enough, just like Mummelmann. Stop preaching you both.

You want the best Camera on a phone? iPhone.

Here, coming from an android fan (jump to 4:40) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6pPIG3EvAs

You want the best smartphone for gaming? iPhone. I don't need a linkt to prove this one.

You want the phone with guaranteed long term support? iPhone.

You want the phone with the best control options over your personal data? iPhone

Best benchmarks on a phone? (who buys a phone based on benchmarks anyway but w/e)

http://www.idownloadblog.com/2014/09/22/iphone-6-performance-benchmarks/

You want the phone with best applications support? iPhone

Other categories that I am omitting are more of a personal preference. So no need to go on.

Apple products are not for you, cool! Until recently, before the introduction of third party keyboards on iOS, Apple products wasn't for me either. But I could easily understand why Apple is selling millions of them.

I don't get why people like you or Mummelmann are baffled with the iPhone success. It's easy: it's a really good phone.

Best camera on a phone? Don't care anyway. Every camera above 80 euros is better than anything on any phone anyway.

Gaming? I don't game on a phone.

Guaranteed long term support? Thanks, I have a Nexus 4. Even if Google drops support, I will get newer software releases.

Control over personal data? What would that mean or be?

Benchmarks? On a phone? Either phone feels snappy or doesn't, no need for benchmarks to prove my phone is fast enough for my use-cases.

Best application support... Well, besides games, I don't see what one might missing but ok. I guess there are still the most apps on iOS, right?

Yes, the iPhone is a good phone but still I don't see why I should get one instead of any other phone. In fact I am even not sure if someday I won't buy a blackberry (android app compatibity) or Windows Phone (as a secondary, that is). And it's a shame that no Apple phone is capable of dual-sim, in my opinion. If you want or need dual-sim you can't buy anything from Apple (excluding 3rd party adapters).
