2007: Halo 3
2009: Halo 3:ODST and Halo Wars
2010: Halo Reach
2011: Halo Aniversary
2012: Halo 4
2014: Master chief collection
2015: ODST HD and Halo 5
Besides 2008 and 2013(where MS was shifting their focus on next gen) there was always at least one Halo game per year after 2007.So yeah it became an yearly franchise.
