PS4 will beat the X1 in every country including North America, just like PS2 vs Xbox.
In fact PS4 already has a nice lead built up. X1 outsold PS4 in NA a few weeks during the holidays thanks to the price cut, but PS4 is already back on top the past few weeks for January.
