I hope they realize that most of those people are actually rooting for Nintendo's destruction and that Nintendo needs to do its own thing and make their games with the thought that they will never get AAA 3rd party support again. |
It's not a "trust" issue. Sony and MS beat Nintendo fair and square for that audience and Nintendo knows they can't win them back (or that it's too much work for them to even try).
"Doing their own thing" isn't really even a choice at this point, they have no other options left.
