MK is BACK baby! What a comeback. The MK series was pretty much on its last legs with MK vs. DC's sh!ttiness then MK9 comes out and becomes the best selling MK ever. MKX looks to continue its awesomeness. I think it will be the highest selling MK to date.
Who is on your characters wish list?
I hope Fujin, Nitara, Ashrah, Kenshi, Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Erron Black, Mileena (pretty much konfirmed), and Frost make the cut. Liu Kang perhaps if he can fit the story (as the Fire God? Villain?)
Also it'd be cool to see a minigame on there. Motor Kombat, Chess, and Puzzle Kombat were already dismissed but I'd like to see a little fun minigame there. Perhaos a Board Kombat (like Mario Party) or a Kard Kombat (like the old TCG back in teh day).
Also a Konquest mode with Arkham Asylum type gameplay. Warner Bros. owns both series so it'd be cool to see an MK game like Arkham. It could be a full Konquest mode a la Deception's or Shaolin Monks.
Another thing I'd like to see are little bonus videos from the Krypt - something like Cooking With Scorpion (see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-c4U6XRtvc_
What do you think about the story? Did Raiden **** up in the last game? I think future Raiden did, by not warning him that it was SPOILERS Shao Kahn that was supposed to win SPOILERS and present Raiden did what he could with that info. It's gonna be interesting to see how Earth's defense forces react to the Netherealm. Will Shinnok play a huge role? Hmmm...
Only thing I am not a fan of are the variations, but I guess I will try them out.
