Will 3DS reach an all time low before the New3DS is released?

Let's face it, the new3DS is so close, and the sales of the 3DS are kind of drooping due to that (and the fact the appeal of the handheld is speedily fleeing). But will the numbers reach an all time low the weeks before the handheld launches on here?
