They just sold what? 50 milion 3DS. Why are they walking away from that? The userbase for sucessful software is there.

Nintendo earns more revenue from hardware sales. They need to release a €200 handheld that is profitable from the start (or profitable with the purchase of one game)

Yeah... thats the only way, because with the 3DS they had to take a loss.

But, its related to what i was saying. Consoles are harder sells now. To sell in similar numbers they need to make it cheaper because people dont see the value anymore. Those big noticeable technological leaps just arent there anymore.
