why? PS3/PS4/X1 uses blu-ray disks as well. And nobody has doubts that they can run 50GB disks

Wii U isn't using Blu-Rays. It uses a similar proprietary disc.

one could argue the 32gb has more value than the other twos 500gb simple becaue you are not forced to install GBs to the system. It is all perspective to what the system is designed to do.

You can delete older game install on PS4 to clear up space. The only thing that will happen is that the next time you try to use your old game it will need 1 or 2 minutes to install. And it brings the advantage of blazing fast loading times.
